End of Preparation Phase and Next Steps

Dear contestants,

the preparation phase for the dependability competition is now completed: thank you all for the hard work!

Please submit your final firmware via e-mail to cboano@tugraz.at and to markus.schuss@tugraz.at within February 1, 12:59 CET (i.e., January 31, 23:59 AoE). This is a hard deadline and no further extension will be granted.

The competition's testbed infrastructure will be soon shut off and we will start to run the final evaluation of all competing solutions. Please note that, during this time, you will not have access to the testbed infrastructure.

Each team will be notified before the EWSN conference starts about their performance during the evaluation phase. The final classification, however, will only be announced during the main EWSN conference (please avoid cross-posting your results and help us keeping that a secret).

We will then all meet in Madrid during EWSN. In preparation for the conference, please note the following:

• All competing teams must present their solution in the dedicated poster session. Please prepare your poster and note that the easels provided at EWSN will be for A1 posters, NOT A0 posters!.

• The top-three teams will hold a 10-minutes presentation about their solution, followed by a short discussion session. Each team should prepare a set of slides accordingly (both Acrobat PDF and Microsoft Power Point presentation formats are supported) and have them ready in a USB stick that will be copied in the auditorium's computer. Please make sure that your presentations are in 4:3 format.
